Excellent tip indeed Josie! Speaking of free WiFi, I recently found this cool website that lists all the free Wifi spots in Vancouver – you can even search by neighbourhood. Very useful!

Me again. I just realized I have a thrify tip for you. If you’re visiting Whistler and looking for a wireless connection, head to the Whistler public library. The connection is free (the place we stayed at charged $12 a day) and if you don’t have a laptop you can use one of their computers. The library is just outside the village and is a beautiful building just to be in – lots of windows looking out on snow covered cedars.
